My line of Davis' in the Carolinas were not the Quaker Davis'. two different lines.
The Carolina Davis', beginning with Robert Davis (m: Jane Gaston) - and his family was from Virginia, but we haven't connected him with parents yet - and this line ended up in Texas. They are associated with the Gaston's of the Carolinas and also with the Bowen family of Texas.
