Hi Alan,
I don't have any coat of arms on my possession. Somehow it has never been a priority item in my life. One bit of useless information I have gleaned over the years is that there has been a Watts in the British army as long as Britain has had a standing Army, without a break. My Dads younger brother joined up in the early 1930's (Mainly to get a mouth out of the house) signing up for 30 years. At the start o WW2 he was a Corporal, got out at Dunkirk a Sergeant and was immediately promoted to WO2 and sent off to OTC because he was a "Regular". He finished the war a Major, reverting to Captain as all "Regulars" did, and retired at the end of his 30 years a Lt. Colonel. He was in the RASC.
Regards,
Dave

Hi Alan,
My name is Dave Watts. My Father came to South Africa in 1938, so I doubt that we would be directly related. His family hailed from Norwich and were in the Millwright and Steam Engineering business. But, who knows?
However, it is good to see that there is a Watts group now and two of us are from South Africa.
Regards,
Dave Watts,
Claremont, Western Cape.
I look forward to hearing from you
