Hi Jo Ann,

I found your photo - here! But I don't know where "here" is! I found your photo by going to your profile page. So I'm not sure where you have uploaded your photo, but what you could do is go back to the Lost Faces group and start a new DISCUSSION.

Inside the Discussion text box you can type your comment and then insert your photo by clicking on the little camera icon. It will then appear as a new DISCUSSION in our group Lost Faces, and your explanation will be seen with it.

It's a gorgeous photo but unorthodox! For one thing, her hair is hanging down loosely, rather unusual, so it will be fun (and challenging) for us to try to help date it.

This photo is a tintype and was left in my grandmothers photo album when she died. My grandmothers name was Martha Jane McMichael Beckman. She was born 1865 in Coffee County, TN. I have always thought this was her mother, (Volumnia Sophia Harris), or her mother-in-law, (Rebecca Schroeder Beckmann).
