John R. Jones cemetery record gives slightly different facts, the Spring Grove cemetery card states that John R. Jones died in California in August 1861. The cemetery record gives his birth as Aug 1832 in North Wales, consistent with his marker. His parents were Jno. and Jane Jones. John was originally buried in Section 39, Lot 56 and moved to the James Wynne Jones plot on 19 Sep 1863.
