1816 Freedom Registration Paper for Lewis Adams as an FPOC in Ohio

This is the record of registration for Lewis Adams filed Feb 1816 as a Free Person of Color (FPOC) in the State of Ohio, This registration was required by the Ohio Black Codes of 1804 and is recorded in Minute Book 4 pp 102-103 of the Champaign County, Ohio Recorders Office located in Urbana, Ohio. Lewis is a maternal great-great-great grandfather of Art Thomas.
