    I do have a Captian Ebineezer Hanna from Northern Ireland and migrated to the US before 1754 and went to Pennsylvania so far I have 2 children Rev. Samuel Hanna born abt 1754 in Pennsylvania and died 16 September 1837 in Washington Co., AR married married Mary Cassiday 15 November 1796 in Bourbon County., KY the 2nd child was Joseph Hanna born Abt 1756 in Pennsylvania.

    Good comment, Martha. This sounds like a YDNA test to determine Patrimony connections, which tests only a male's Y chromosome. This will determine Haplogroups and is good for Male family name connections.

    For fuller tests, places like 23andme test all of ones chromosomes, including X and Y and finds connections between individuals, through matching on all chromosomes .
