Hi Gwen - saw your post from November on the Avery group I started. Sorry that I don't keep up with it like I should. You mentioned a Coon-Avery connection. I have seen those two names together in Bradford Co PA, but don't have the first names at my finger tips. Wonder if your Averys may have roots there. I am trying to find other Averys who may have connections with the Dedham Branch.

From your profile I see you have Kramer. My 4th great grandmother was Catherine Kraemer and she lived in York Co PA with her husband Philip Wolford. Some of their descendants from Centre and Clinton Co PA ended up in Knox and Richland Cos. in Ohio.

You also listed Darling. The Vermont Historical Society has a 44 volume handwritten history of the Darling family. It is all cross indexed. I believe the Mormons may have copied it. If they haven't, they should. I also have some Darling tombstone pictures from the Woodstock area of Vermont.

Hi Gwen - Its been a while since I took the Darling tombstone pictures. But to the best of my memory they were in Woodstock area of Windsor Co. and Montpelier in Washington Co. I used to work with two Darling sisters. well one was a darling and the other well.... . I will look for the pictures and let you know who there were.

Sorry for the delay in answering. Dennis (my husband) has hit a rather big *road bump* on his lung transplant road-to-recovery. His WBC has bottomed out.
Anyway, thanks for all the info. I'll be curious to see if Coon is a variation of Kuehn. So far I only find the original Kuehn spelling and I'm finding that in Germany. Here in Minnesota, my Great-great Grandmother and Grandfather seem to be the ones who changed it to Keehn.
Ahh the joys of research!!! :)
