Thank you so much. My only Forbes lineage is Pitt County, North Carolina, Rev. War Lt. Arthur Forbes, Sr., on the Pitt Co. Committee of Secrecy, Intelligence, and Observation. Jim Wooten, former head of FBI counter-intelligence, is also a descendant. Forbes seems to be one of only about twenty Dobbs County (defunct), N.C., men allowed to vote on the acceptence of the U.S. Constitution--he voted against it. Jim The late Joseph M. Law, JOCM, US Navy, my once wonderful boss, was from out West. The Rowan Co., N.C., Clerk of Court office has a classic original 1750's Old German will of Mr. Kline who mentions his six sons: Messrs. Kline, Cline, Klein, Short, Little, and Small.

Thank you ever so much, Al. I couldn't find any mention of Wellingore in my World Altas. I am so grateful for your imput. The internet and I are usually at odds with each other, for it knows what to do and I don't know. I get single minded so I never gave it a thought to check in Google Map. I will remember next time I have a wonderment. You people who have been in the business of Genealogy for yrs. are a real Godsend to Newbies, like me. Thank You, Al.
