I began lineage research in 2009 and have since become a 23andMe Ancestry Ambassador, an Ancestry.com Ancestry Ace, administrator of The Captain Thomas Graves of Jamestown Autosomal DNA Project, administrator of the Ford-Washington DNA Project, co-administrator of the Hemings-Jefferson-Wayles-Eppes Autosomal DNA Project, and a participant in The North Carolina Genealogical Society/FamilySearch North Carolina Loose Estates Records Project.

I also author Through The Trees, http://ThroughTheTreesBlog.tumblr.com, a didactic guide to genealogical tools and technology.
