Merritt, Westcott, Carpenter, Balcom, in Digby and Annapolis Counties Nova Scotia. I am researching the descendants and peripheral family lines of John Merritt UE and his wife Lucy. She was possibly the daughter of Silas Balcom and Susan Smith. Also the family of Thomas Westcott and Chloe Carpenter whose son Thomas Jr. and daughter Lucy married sister and brother, Sarah and Gilbert Merritt.
