Wow! Nancy It looks like we have a connection with Alexander Marr!

My great great great grandfather was in fact Alexander Marr who of course was part of the 42nd highland regiment but settled in an area of Kings County known as Mistake Creek or Smiths Creek.

Alexander Marr, b. 1749, Aberdeen, Scotland, d. 1829, Smith's Creek, Kings Co., New Brunswick, Canada, would be my 4th great grandfather.

Brian, Welcome to a brand new group designed to bring together relatives close and distant who descend from John Marr. I expect some lively discussions and comments once the word gets out and we start adding new members.
