Good day m'dears.
My connections with the name LOCK are based on the Isle of Wight in the UK.

I am also descended from Reverend Jacob Locke and Margaret P. Jett. I would like to know if any has made progress on this line...

My wife's family comes down from Reverend Jacob Locke, b. 24 Aug 1767, Hanover Co., Va. d. 18 Jan. 1845, Barren Co., Ky., who married Margaret P. Jett 09 March 1787 in Va. They had 9 children. Would like to talk to anyone who is researching this line.

I am not a member of the LOCKE family or a descendant thereof, however, during the course of transcribing Ships Passenger Lists for a client yesterday I came across information which may be helpful/useful to those who are interested in 'LOCKE'.
1922: Among the passengers boarding the "NIKKO MARU" travelling from the port of Yokohama (Japan) to Sydney (Australia) on 5 February 1922 is a Bishop CE LOCKE.

Welcome to the Locke Family discussion group. Please let us know how you are related to the Lock surname, so we can get to know one another and get some discussion going.

I am a descendent of Nathaniel Locke and Judith Hermins, who came during the 1600's. As soon as I get organized I will post information about them.
