I received an email from Amy Perryman of Arcadia Publishing. They are looking for someone who would be interested in writing a history of Jessamine county. Anyone interested ? I can send you her contact info.

Thank you Nancy. I have a copy of that will and my mother has an original copy of Samuel's son Luke's will. My cousin has mentioned a will from Samuel's father who is supposed to be John Walters, but no one seems to know where it's at. Have you heard of or seen this elusive will?

I'm looking for information on the Walters Family of Jessamine Co. Samuel Walters (d. abt 1805) was my 4th Great Grandfather. His father is supposedly John Walters (abt 1730-1800) who came from Halifax Co VA. This family is also listed in the Census as Wallers/Watters/Waters. Thank you for any help.

My grandmother was Beulah Mae Corman, born 1899. Her brother was Raymond, born a few years later. Their parents were Manuel Corman, b. 1873 and Ida Armstrong. I believe the Armstrongs were from Mercer Co. I've found many of her family in Lexington. His parents were Gratton Corman and Katherine Sparks. I have no info on the Sparks family.

Maunel's siblings:
Mary E. b. 1866
William H. b. 1869
George H. abt 1869
Clark 1879
Thomas 1884
Taylor 1887
Robert 1888

The line goes back this way:
Abram H. Corman 1814 and Sarah Earthenhouse 1817 IShe is descended from a Hessian soldier that defected and joined the US, named Bodenhausen)

George A. Corman, 1795 and Abigail Hicks, 1796

Abraham F. Corman 1766 and Mary Ann Ritter, 1771

I won't add more cause they go back to Pennsylvania and Germany. Any info, pictures, documents that you come across would be helpful.

Thanks.
