My creole ancestors name are Josephine Francois who is my fourth great grandmother, Honore Francois who is my fourth great grandfather, Hypolite Francois, Justin Francois, Lucien Francois, Francois Francois, and Julien Francois are my third great uncles. Adelide Francois (may be the birth namesake of my third great grandmother) Josephine Francois, Augustine Francois, and Camilite Francois are my third great aunts. I found Adelide Francois, Augustine Francois and Camilite Francois on the 1880 census from New Orleans or Orleans Parish. They migrated to Orleans Parish within 1870-1880. My creole ancestor and third great aunt Camilite Francois was the aunt for whom my grandmother was the closest Francois to our family, and she raised my great grandmother Auralia Davis Fisher. She concealed countless secrets, and she had never talked about her mother which is highly unusual and implausible that a daughter would never talk about her mother or mention her name. The only siblings throughout the 3 generations we had known about were Camilite, Deliette, who may be Adelide Francois my third great grandmother who had changed her name to Eliste and married a man by the name of Richard Jefferson, and Hypolite Francois who had been called "Polite".
I didn't know that there were SEVEN other siblings. The father Honore had changed his first name to Pahte between those ten years when they migrated to Orleans Parish. Glenda, I appreciate your very benevolent gesture to offer your services to me. May God Bless You.
