Hi. I can trace my Fosters back to Ipswich, Massachusetts. My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Foster. I have been to a Foster reunion in Illinois about 20 years ago. I descend from Nathan Miller Foster's son Charles Alexander Foster.

Hi Foster family, I am researching more evidence of Reginald Foster that came to Ipswich, Mass. in 1638. His daughter Sarah married into the Story family and that lines runs down to my mother. I have very good documents on that family but only find the Foster Genealogy by Pierce for the links to England and Bamburgh. Anyone researching this same line? Love to share notes with you.

Hello - I'm new here and researching my Foster ancestors starting with Catherine Montye Foster, daughter of Egbert Jones Foster, of TN, and granddaughter of Booker F. Foster, of VA and then TN. I'm really hoping to find the 1840 US census record for Booker F. Foster. (I think there was more than one Booker Foster in VA around that time.)

Hi guys. I believe I am a distant relative on the Foster side. My lineage of the Foster goes from my grandfather Walter Roy Foster who's father is Arthur Eugene Foster (b.1901, missouri), and his father who is also Arthur (b.1871, iowa), and his father who is James M. Foster (b.1838, d.1883), and his mom and dad are Hiram Foster, and Sarah Roark. I hope to hear from you all real soon

Francis, I am descended from one of Elizabeth's brothers (Hiram). I do not have much information on Elizabeth's descendents or the Davis branch but I can provide you with some information on Elizbeth's Foster ancestors. Has anyone come across definitive evidence that a specific Alexander Foster was the father of James and grandfather of Michael? I have a fair amount of documentation about Michael, and some for James, but nothing definitive on Alexander. I've seen a lot of family trees and references showing the Alexander/James connection, but no real documentation or convincing proof. (Some of I've seen which mixes the similarly named father/son who were Steven Foster's ancestors). Any information that anyone has, or a direction in which to search, would be appreciated.
