I've searched many places andjust seem to have a broken link with William's paernts. Many other Cross researchers have many trees going back from the early 1800's all the way back to the 1600's, but none definately show my William. We have a hunch his parents might be Asa Cross and Polly Townsend, & Grandparents Benjamin Cross and Charity Lindsay, but can't confirm it.

Leon, where have you searched already? Ancestry.com, Footnote? I am asking so that we don't duplicate what you have done already.

No...I have no CROSS family in Nebraska. I know some went from GA to Ark...they could have gone on to Nebraska....

Nora, can you provide more info? Names, dates, locations...maybe I can help. I know there several Cross families in SC in the late 1700s.

I am researching a Cross family in NJ. They were there at least by 1800. I don't know where they came from or when they came.
