Acting on suggestion of $degraaf, added OneGreatFamily, WeRelate.org, FamilyBuilder and MyHeritage to description.
As Brian pointed out, these additoinal keywords will make the group turn op in more searches.

Did not add WebTree, as it is just a genealogy hosting site, or MyFamily as it does not seem very social.
Not excluding discussion of these, just do not seem great examples.
MyHeritage has its own group, but added to highlight it belongs here too.

The description is not supposed to be an an exhaustive list of
Social Genealogy Sites, just some examples (to avoid having to create a definition that will be debated forever).
