Good Resources

I'll update it with more as I remember them..

Wisconsin Vital Records - great online search, can see basic info, only $15 to order a copy - http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/vitalrecords/
Wisconsin GenWeb - there is also the Gen Web site. Good for county-related information. Some counties are better than others. - http://www.wigenweb.org/

I live in Oconto County where I research my Husband's Families: Langlay, Harteau & L'Anglais. My family comes from Calumet, Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Fond du Lac counties: Schuh, Braun, Hanke, Koehler and then Healy-Jurkowski also.

Hi,
The link for the vital records was a big help! My Wisconsin relatives are Calvin E. Reed, Sarah Twist, Avis Josephine Reed, William Fisher, Ennis Fisher, Nathan F Maynard, Sally Ann White, and Theodoria Maynard. From my research I believe they are from the Adams County area.

If you are searching in Dodge or Jefferson counties, visit the Dodge-Jefferson Gen Society
They have an enormus newspaper clip file, family group sheets, county specific databases and several books available for sale. A favorite of mine.
