Hey Jamie if you are willing to give me your email I can send you an invite to my Whitaker Tree then you can see if we have anyone in common...keep in mind I have concentrated on the paternal direct line and am now working on the "branches"  There was a family tree done years before the internet by Lester Whitaker Sr unfortunatly noone could find it after he passed. We were told we had Indian blood somewhere and that we were related in some way to Wyatt Earp.I'm trying to find all this out if you or anyone else has info let me know!   my email is a4t2mom@yahoo.com

From the Titus Co., Texas bunch, we tracked down William Charles Whittiker and he took a DNA test for us and compared it to our one living uncle (David M) and we match but are still tracking the people to see who was or may have been our great grandfather's parents. We have located quite a bit on William Whittiker of Titus Co., Tx. and found out a maiden name for the wife (Nancy Fitsgibbons) daughter of William Fitsgibbons (late of Panola Co., Tx ) and his first wife-The second wife being the wife of William Whittiker's father and possibly another wife. A real mix of a family. Elijah Whittiker was the father of William Whittiker, Sarah (wife of Wm. Barton Pillow), Mary (wife of John M Wade), and Alexander, and Peter. [may have been more but that is as we have right now. William had Elijah (WM. Elijah), Peter, Clarinda by Nancy Fitsgibbons Whittiker. [Have proof in papers of her Father out of Panola CO., Tx] Mary, Sarah, Peter, and William [daughters and sons of the second wife of William Fitsgibbons also have proof and papers are "body heirs of Nancy ? Whittiker Fitsgibbons ]
