Hey Susan E.,
My Walkers also came from Ontario [Markdale] and settled in Duluth, MN! Any chance we have a connection?

My great great grandmother was Elizabeth Walker who was born at Heathesville, Northumberland County, Virginia July 29,1812 and died October 26,1890 in Hickman County,Tennessee. Her parents were Thomas Walker and Mary (Sarah) Coleman both of Virginia. Elizabeth married John Grimes February 25,1830 in Maury County, Tennessee.Their children were:George, Thomas, Missouri, William, Sarah, Martha, and Alice, my great grandmother. I would like to hear from anyone connected to this family. I would especially like to know Elizabeth's ancestry and information about her siblings. Phillip

I'm researching Walkers of Sumter County, Alabama. The farthest back I've been able to go with certainty is Francis Marvin Walker (1846-1928).

Hi,

My ggg grandfather William S Thornton married Elizabeth Walker - 1812 Edgefield, SC. There were three male Walker families in the immediate area but I cannot connect her to either line with documentation other than the marriage record. She was born 1794.
