Susan, I did some research on the Kenney family of Virginia as my sister's deceased husband was a Kenney. Also there was a Judge Kenney here in
Harrisonburg, Va. My Vances were in WV/VA/PA. Where were yours in this country?

I am researching William Blount/BLUNT 1756-1825. He was the son of Charles Blunt and Susannah Mallory. William fought in the Revolutionary War and later moved to Muskingum, Ohio and married second Mary Shugart. Any help appreciated.I'm wondering why my northern Blunts are down south????

Hello, my Virginia connections is "Warren", William Warren came from England in the 1620s. Lived in York Co., then to Gloucester Co. son John in Essex Co., VA. Have the whole Warren line back to the vikings. Also surname "Lawrey, Loury, Lowrey" Daniel from Fauquier County, VA mid to late 1700s.

Hoping someone out there know something about Mason/Manson Wills/Wells. He was in southern Chesterfield County, Virginia on the 1850 census. In 1852, he married Eleanor Whitmore. They had 1 or 2 children in Petersburg. By 1860, they had moved to Johnston County, North Carolina with 3 children. Eleanor died between 1880 -1900 and Manson died in 1900. His obituary and marriage record does not mention parents' names. Family lore says that his family came from Dinwiddie County, Virginia.

I'm looking for information on Eugene Higgins who lived in Norfolk City from 1804 to late 1860's.
He had a son Eugene Jeremiah Higgins whose son Daniel Witter is my G-GrandFather.
Any leads - info appreciated.

I am searching for information on the Smith, Harmon, Hartsock, and Hartman families of Smyth, Tazewell, and/or Russell counties (and Mercer County, WVA). How can I get any records from this area online?
