I have just created a website for my Barnetts who migrated to Virginia from Ireland.
I plan to add more documents at a later date, but need to get it going.

I am looking for information on Godfrey Fowler born about 1670 in Petersburg, Henrico County, Virginia, also Susannah Wilson Archer born about 1674 in Henrico County, John William II Fowler born in Marlborough, England, died in Henrico County.

Seeking info on my gg grandfather (John Hale). He was possibly born 1808-1820 in one of these Viginia counties; Grayson, Washington, or Wythe. He is show in the 1850 census for Perry County, KY with his wife Sally (Sarha Fawbush, born about 1822 in Sullivan County, TN), and the 1860 census for Magoffin County, KY. His son William was born about1842 in Russel County, Virginia. Thanks for any help.

I just discovered I made a mistake!! I mixed up generations!! James Johnson was born about 1714 but no idea about anything else. Ann Norman was his daughter in law. I am trying to find out about Virginia in 1714. Thanks!

I am not sure where to start although I have written here before. I have received some records that state that my father's family goes back about 6 generations in and around Culpeper, Va. The first one I have a record for is James Johnson
b about 1714. He married Ann Norman about 1770. They had 10 children. Any ideas about how I might find out where HE came from? I live in Oregon. I am beginning this process and am curious about so many things but if someone gives me a direction I will run with it. Thank you.

My father's family, the Johnsons, are all from Virginia.  Some live there now.  My father's name was Clarence E. Johnson b. 1933 and his parents were Charles E. Johnson and Carrie Virginia.  I am in the beginning of this process.  My dad grew up in Culpeper, VA.
