Hi, it looks like the last comment in this group was 11 years ago! I am descended from Solomon Turpin b. 1789 (Virginia) d. 1858 (Texas). He lived a large part of his life in Russell County, Kentucky.

My Turpins lived in Roane Co., Tn. Isaac C. Turpin was my great-great grandfather. I believe his father was supposed to be Martin Turpin.
