Hi John Tull. I remember looking up your Elizabeth Tull in the 1850 census in Madison Co. TN because one of my 7th(?) g-grandfather's (John Nicholas Tull) daughters (Mary Tull Sparks) was said to have been born in Madison Co. and I have always suspected a relationship between Elizabeth Tull's husband and John Nicholas Tull. In 1850 JN Tull was in Henderson Co., but he was said to have been in Madison before that. The dates and places fit, but alas, I could never find that link. I'll bet it's there though!

The earliest reference I have found to my Tull line is Madison County, TN--mother, Elizabeth and some of her children, all but youngest born in North Carolina, the youngest born in TN. The next reference I have found is mother and some children in Freestone County, Texas. Isaac W.(?) Tull, one of the children born in NC, was my great grandfather. Don't know Elizabeth Tull's husband, or her maiden name.

Most likely... I would have to check. I haven't seen a gedcom link, so I suppose we will just have to "talk" about possible connections.
I am hoping to find a Tull somewhere who could I.D. a photo for me. its on my page, Samuel Tull?

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for joining the Tull group. My Tull's are from Tennessee via way of MD,GA,AL and MS- keeping hoping to find a link back to the Maryland Tull's or at least the correct Tull's. I think I remember the Indiana Tull's are linked about to Maryland.

Great idea! I am a descendant of the Tulls in Kansas - orginally out of Indiana.
