Does anyone have an Adkins connection? My gggrandfather was Adam Adkins (m. Bertha McDaniel). He was born in 1885 in Fentress County. As far as I can tell, his parents were Ewell Adkins and Sarah Cross, but I don't have any documented proof of it.

I am looking for information on John Jones, b. ca. 1795 TN and made the trip west to NW Arkansas with a group from White/Warren, TN in about 1832 or 1833. His daughter Caroline (Jones) Whiteley was b. 1831 Tennessee. She was my g-g-g-grandmother. A brother, James LeRoy Jones, was b. 1834 in Arkansas.

I am Looking for info on John McGown. May be spelled McGowen or McGowan. He was born in Tn I think in Franklin co. Not for sure of the date or year. He started having children in 1833 but wasn't living in Tn then. He didn't get married when he lived in Tn. unless she died or they divorced. He married in Ky. Wondering about his parents and siblings.
