Thanks for checking, Kennert... All I really have are a couple of responses I got on the Swedish GenForum... I'm posting what they sent me...

I have a Peter/Petter Krut, born September 1794; a soldier in the Regiment Smalands Grenadjar Bataljon, Company Sunnerbo, Parish Goteryd, File Snarhult. He was married to Sara Nilsdotter; they had a daughter Anna born November 20, 1820 at Snarhult Dragontorp. Apparently, he moved to Goteryd from Hinneryd in 1813 at which time he also changed his name from Rask to Krut. The couple had two other daughters, Stina (10/23/1815) and Johanna (8/10/1825).

I'm trying to find the name he was born with and his parents names and info... Any help would be appreciated. Tak.

Have updated my website with new lists of emigrants from Falköping, Skaraborg. It's two type of lists. One sorted by born parish the other in the state/country the emigrants died in.

My family is mostly from Malmohus, Kristianstad and Halland... so the very bottom part of Sweden.

I'm a professional researcher and would be happy to help anyone frustrated with their Swedish roots to help them be located. Email me.

Oops, try this--
I research mainly in Floby Parish and surrounding Parish areas of Skaraborgs Lan and also some in Loftahammar, Kalmar Lan Sweden. My blog, Those Old Memories often has stories and pics of Swedish ancestors or research.
