Are going to look for Gottbergs husband...
// Yvonne
I got some big help with my Swedish family at Geni.com.
My wall is with the mother of Margareta Christina Gottberg-Horlin.
Her name is Anna Greta Gottberg.
Am seeking her husbands name and her family.
Her daughter, Margareta Christina Gottberg Horlin was put up for adoption.
She was born September 24, 1822 and died Jan. 1, 1917 in Maria Parish, Stockholm, Sweden.
I'd also like to find information about my great grandfather, Anders Andersson Rask, whose daughter is Lovisa Andersson born Feb. 14, 1852 in Sunbro agor Balinge, Uppsala Ian, Uppland, Sweden.
About Anders Andersson Rask, would like information on his military records.
Linda
My Swedish family is my grandmother Desederia Eve Harlin of Jersey City, NJ.
Her father is John Harlin and her mother is Louisa Anderson.
John is from Stockholm, Sweden and Louisa is from Uppsala, Sweden.
John was born about 1852-1856. Louisa was born about 1852.
Louisa came to America in 1881 and arrived sometime in June just a few weeks before President McKinley was shot.

Comment by Lori Butler on March 28, 2012 at 12:04am Hi Yvonne, thank you for responding. I am a Hedquist, but have been told that there was many spellings and it has changed over the years, Hedqvist, Hedkvist, Headquist, Headkvist, etc., I believe grandfather John Albert was born March 16, 1893 and was born in Skon. He had some point came to the United States and then to Canada, the east coast of Canada (I am originally from there). I do believe he was married and still waiting for confirmation of that. I was hoping to connect with some other relatives that were or have done some research, I have created a document that lists some siblings of my Grandfather. I am interested in the relatives that are still in Sweden.
I can also be reached at lori_mark@shaw.ca ..
