Hi Joanna. Regarding Castleventry/Kilmeen Sullivan's. I believe you also posted on Here is what I have found out about Michael Collins' grandmother, Margaret O'Sullivan (she is also my 3g great grandmother). She was from the townland of Castleventry(rather than another townland in that parish) and her brother was a hedge school teacher. The family name was O'Sullivan Uafásach ("Cranky") and that the Jeremiah at house 14 in the 1911 census was related. Any connection to your Sullivans? Regards.. Bernard

Tamara: I can't find a Patrick who fits the exact bill, but there is a Patrick in this page which has a father Jeremiah and a mother Mary, baptised March 1861:

I am trying to validate some of the information I have found regarding my Sullivan, Sulivane ancestors who were residents of the Eastern Shore Counties of Maryland beginning in the 1600's.

I would really appreciate some help if possible. I have been doing research on my own for about 8 months now. I am looking to find the place of birth for my husbands great grandfather. I have quite a bit of info but have hit a wall with the location. This is the info I already have:
Great Grandad:
Patrick J. Sullivan DOB 2/27/1861 Co. Cork
He arrived in Boston on 5/1/1883. The only ship I can find out of Ireland, Queenstown, that year to Boston is the Catalonia which stopped in Liverpool as well.
He was Naturalized 9/6/1890. He married Annie Mulcahey in 1895 and died in Portland Maine October of 1899.
His parents were Jeremiah Sullivan and Margaret Sullivan. I know this is a lot to ask for help but I am at a dead end and would REALLY love to get this done for my husband and his family. Please feel free to email me if you have any ideas or help.
Thanks a Ton!!!!

My ancestor was Patrick Sullivan married to Mary Doyle/Dial. Came to the West Florida Parishes (Spanish) in the Natchez area around 1790 (now Amite County, Mississippi). Maybe from Virginia or the Carolinas. Children include: John Patrick (b. circa 1770), Daniel (b. circa 1777), Nancy Anna (b. circa 1779), and Mary (b. circa 1787).

Am a descendant of John Sullivan & Mary Ann ????. he was born in about 1810 in "Bunker Hill, USA" - according to the death certificate from Scotland, Ontario. His son, Robert is my great grandfather. Robert and Aurilla moved to Georgia in 1897. Their daughter, Phoebe married George Wilson, their eldest son was my father, Clarence Cecil Wilson.
