I am researching the Zachariah Straight family. Zachariah was b. 17 Sep 1781 in NJ. He d. 22 Mar 1825 Elizabethtown, Essex Co., NJ m. Elizabeth Cobb abt 1807 probably in Essex Co., NY. They had 10 children born in Elizabethtown. After the death of Zachariah, Elizabeth and her children moved to Nankin, Wayne Co., MI.

Hey Jim, My great-grandmother, Emma Cornelia Strait was b. in Illinois. Her father, James was b. in Ohio. His father, Richard was b. in Pennsylvania. The furthest back I have is my 7th great-grandfather who came over from Germany.
