Comment by Judy Holcombe Smith on August 23, 2012 at 4:35pm Hi, I'm new here. My gr-gr-grandmother was Amanda Stackhouse Holcombe (b. 1845, New Hope, PA- d.1892, Lambertville, NJ), daughter of William K. Stackhouse (b. 1824, resided New Hope 1850, d.?), son of William Stackhouse (b. 1791, d. 1863). There seem to be a lot of Stackhouses in the Bristol area, but I haven't been able to connect mine to those.
