My Snow family settled in the New England area in the mid 1600's after arriving from England. I have early records of the family living in New Hampshire and massachuchetts. Several families link into my Snow line. They include: Cutler, Brigham, Warren, Wheelock, Trowbridge, Jackson, Parke, Farr, Winslow, Ewer, Worden, Hastings and Connant to name a few. On the Snow line specifically I have such names as Gardner, James, Zerubbabel, John and Richard. I would love to correspond with those who may be related to any of these families.

Hello Everyone,

My Snow family is from Brigus and Port de Grave Newfoundland. Anyone else have Newfoundland Snows?

Hi. My Snow family come from Newfoundland but are thought to originally come from England although I have not managed to trace that far back.

I have not found any connection to family outside of Dorset or having emigrated to USA. If I do find anything which might link in, I will post!

LINDSEY:, I have not taken my research far enough back to be researching in the UK but I do believe my Snow family came from there. No proof.

Do the names Marmaduke, Abel and Justinian Snow ring any bells for you? I am trying to establish a connection to these (I believe they were bros?) and I understand they came from Statsfordshire England sometime in the early 1600s and settled in or around the state of Maryland in US.

I still have to prove a link to one or more of these men but, I believe this is the right track for me to take. Thanks, Dodie

I like it! I wonder if people will think we are talking about snow, which we are. lol

Also, we need some more activity in this group. There are quite a few members but, they don't seem to be posting here.

Wish I could make some progress on my Dorset Snows though! I seem to be the only person in this group researching Snows in the UK???
