Do you start with your oldest ancestor, your parents, your paternal line, or with yourself?

I start with a grandparent and then do their parents and their siblings and then work my way back.  I am almost finished with my 3rd album.

Mine has exploded since starting in the 1980's. I have a book for each line.

I heritage scrap 8 1/2 x 11 and have a notebook for each surname that also contains documentation starting with the furthest generation back and working forward.

I Have started with my Grandma on my Dads side, since I have the most information, I'm doing just her family, then I'll do a book on Grandpa.  Then I'm gonna start on Mom's side of the family.  I don't have much information on anyone, what I've got, I've gotten on jAncestry.com, and from a few cousins.
