Does anyone have any Scotts who came to North America during Colonial times? If you do, post 'em here!

My Scotts came to Massachusetts (Norfolk Co. mainly) in the 17th Century. In 1764, they relocated to Nova Scotia and some later went to Maine. My Scotts were in Yarmouth mainly and end with Mary Lee Scott (1809-1893), daughter of John Scott (1768-1855) and Ruth Hilton (1871-1841) who married Ebenezer Healy/Haley and came to California during the Gold Rush.

I am most interested in more about your lineage. I am grasping at straws but it seems that the line I am tracking that is a 100 % match of my line seems to fit into your data.

I have SCOTT in Pittsylvania Co. VA dcd abt 1770 from ??? from Thomas Scott down I am okay. But back I am lost.

The thriller was a match with YDNA and then the fun began because this SCOTT line being in potentially MASS, definitely in Ontario Canada,, then some down to MI and down all over USA and back and forth for some time.
I did research in Canada and learned a bit Elijah D Scott was born abt 1841 Ontario Ca is of Friends religion,
wife Mary L. children: Emma L 9 Sarah 7 Camby 5, Lillian 3 and Mary C. 2. 1871 Census of Canada.

Now I am told his parents were John and Ruth? wondering if this is same family totally unknown?? I know Elijah was in and out of USA for several times .
