I am seeking information pertaining to Philipp Schmidt who was married to Elisabetha Margaretha Spaeth  Their son Johannes was married and their daughter Anna Elisabetha was baptized at the Evangelisch, Reichenbach, Starkenburg, Hess-darmstadt Germany.  So they were long term residents in this area between at least 1841 thru 1875.

My paternal ggma was Rosella Schmidt from Green Bay, Wisconsin (also listed as Schmitt or Schmitz) marrying Samuel Todd residing in Escanaba, Michigan. Her parents are listed on marriage certificate as Nicholas Schmitt and Teresa Rothwinkle (or Ratheigle).

Looking for information for a Dorthea Sophia Schmidt, who marries Christopher Wedeking (name later changed to Wedekind) She was born in Germany Mar 7, 1834. Died in Ohiowa Nebraska Sep 1, 1885.

I have no information on her father or mother.

Interested in the Schmidt family who settled in Webster County, Nebraska. They came to the US in the 1860s to Illinois, then Missouri and then on to Nebraska. Names are Herman & Mary (Schuman) Schmidt, August & Ernstine (Luck) Schmidt.

My paternal grandmother was Emilie Schmidt and married David Tillman (sp?) could be spelled Thielmann or Tilghmann. Anyone have info? They last resided in Chicago, IL area. And also possibly David lived in Canada and had come through there when he emigrated to the USA from Russia/Germany. Thanks.
