I am a decendent of James Aaron Ritter and his second wife Mary Ann Burcham. His first wife was a Ann Violet Burcahm, and they lived in Tom(s) Creek, Surry Co., NC.

We have family in Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Arkansas, and here in Oklahoma.

I'm intrigued by your Ritter ancestry. I also have Ritter's in my background that trace to southeastern PA in the early 1700's. Several children moved to UnionSnyder county and I'm trying to make connections.

My maternal grandmother is one of three girls. Her father was Martin Luther Ritter. He was killed on Rt. 192 between Lewisburg and Mifflinburg on his bicycle by a mail carrier.
