Comment by Nancy Featherly Stump on February 4, 2012 at 2:55pm Hi I am looking for information on Benjamin Congdon, Elizabeth Albro, they was in Portsmouth, RI in the 1600's. Also looking for Benjamin Congdon and Francis Stafford also of Portsmouth, I have a John Congdon, Jr. born in 1777 in Rutland, Vermont, he married Tabitha Place, she was also born in Rutland Vermont. I have seen where John Congdon, Jr, is the grandson of Benjamin and Francis, it was in a message board, but have been unable to find any John Congdon b. 1777 in Vermont or RI.
