Welcome to our new group. The photo I've used for the group is a picture of my grandparents Kenneth Percy RATTEY (1901-1997) and Winifred Mabel TIDBURY. My grandfather was born a RATTY but changed his surname to RATTEY which he pronounced Raytee. I'm stuck on my RATTY line as I've been unable to find a baptism or birth for my great-grandfather James RATTY who was born about 1858-1860 either in Bermondsey or St Luke's in London. He also seems to be missing from the 1861 census. I know that his grandparents were James RATTY (born c. 1793 in Laverstoke) and Ann SULLIVAN (born c. 1804 in Kerry, Ireland).
