My Pollitt's come from Maryland (Somerset and Wicomico counties), they moved to Kentucky (Lewis & Mason counties) and then my grandfather crossed the Ohio River to live in Ohio (Adams County). Family legend has it that our family came from Bolton, England in the late 1600's.
