Hi all,

I am seeking information on my great grandmother, Annie Schickerinsky whose father is Waldemar and whose mother is Mary Schulze. Annie married John Christ on January 4, 1890 in Manhattan, New York USA.

I am researching the Stansislaus Markoski & his wife Johanna Gazda, who immigrated to Western Massachusetts in the 1890s.  I know about their "after" immigration life, but nothing about their Polish life or even their initial immigration (they had gone back for a couple of years around 1907).  Any know how I might find out their Polish spellings?

We are researching the family names:  KALINOWSKI, KROCHMAL, KLODENSKI and KULESZA.  All families immigrated to Massachusetts in the early 1900s.

The Polish surnames I am researching are JAROTKIEWICZ, GORALSKI, POCZTELANCZYK, POSTELANCZYK. The Jarotkiewicz and Goralski are from the area around Kuczbork and the Pocztelanczyk are from the Poznan area

My Polish surnames are Latzek and Jeszka.  They came from Poland to Michigan around 1881.

My Polish surnames are BERENT, ZUPKA, PUKROP and LESZCZYNSKI. I don't know villages for any of them, though (1) I'm pretty sure BERENT is from northeast Poland and (2) Zupka was last in Łankowice, about 2 miles northwest of Kcynia, according to his ship manifest.

The Polish surnames I'm researching are Zychowski, Kozubal, and Przybyla. All are from the Krosno area of southeastern Poland.
