Greetings. I'm doing a  family search and my ancestor is Francis Elisabeth Pitman. She was from Texas, born around 1864 and married James David Cook of Texas. They had 2 sons Thomas Adair Cook b: Sept. 9, 1900 and George Cook who died as a child in 1918.

My Pittman/Pitman family immigr from Framersheim, Germany and settled in Shenandoah Co, VA in the mid to late 1700's. Some then moved on to Harrison Co, IN in the early 1800's. From there, they spread to many states. My 3rd greatgrandfather David Pittman, 2nd greatgrandfather Andrew Pittman, and greatgrandfather Thomas Pittman all moved to Cass Co, NE.

Looking for info on an Ellis Pittman in the South Georgia (Lumber City/ Hazelhurst, Ga) he married Emma Lee Logue in 1945. Looking for cousins or researcher to do a grave finder for me. Long story on the Pittman line and how it connects but even after tons of years of climbing my family tree on other lines my info on the Pittman line is next to nothing and i would like to jump in.
