Comment by Eileen Overlin on November 1, 2009 at 3:15pm: Marion Francis James was born in Indpendence,Missouri in 1848 and died in 1906 in Emporia,Lyon, Kansas. He married Mary Catherine Stark 1889-1891 in Homewood,Franklin, Kansas. Anyone have any info on him?

Comment by Eileen Overlin on October 24, 2009 at 11:02am: I am looking for the parents of Ancil Overlin. Ancil was born May 26, 1827 in Kentucky, possibly Ohio County. He died September 26, 1904 in Emporia, Lyon County, Kansas. Harriet Ticer(Minier) was his wife and he was married to Nancy Kelly before Harriet. Harriet and Ancil had two children, Harry who was married to Mattie Ray and Halla/Hallie who was married to J.L. Boggs. In the 1880 Census Ancil stated his father was born in Kentucky and his mother in Virginia. I have seen Ancil spelled Ansel and he sometimes used his initials A.H.
