Researching a line of Noyes that ended up in Oklahoma Territory.
My grandfather Joseph Graves Noyes, son of Charley Noyes, son of Joseph Graves Noyes (married to Orpha). All died and buried in Coffeyville, KS.

Hey all.....I recently discovered a Tappin Noyes b. 1801 whom married a Jane S. (surname unknown)
I have no idea who Tappin's ancestors are. Does anyone have any record of him?

It's interesting that we all go through Nicholas. I wonder if he's the most documented or if he just had the most surviving descendants...

To be honest I inherited a lot of info from my uncle when I first got started as a teenager that I've been working with since and this was one of them. I'm not sure where he got the info from because he never passed his sources along to me. I have never run across anything that has contradicted the info yet so I haven't touched it. I'd be interested in any info that could prove or disprove it though. Little by little I am trying to add sources to my data, but I just haven't found any yet regarding her.

How do you go through Nicholas? Mine is Nicholas --- John --- Samuel --- John --- Nathan --- William --- Dorcas (who married a Norton).

Ah, another cousin. I descend through son, Nicholas, as well. Where did you find a name for the daughter?
