available, Scandinavian Cultural Center

The library catalog also shows another book:
Langeland, Knud (1813-1888).
Nordmaendene i Amerika : ....with a long sub title and another author. I think it was 1905. More difficult for me to see.
These books like "Who's Who"-type books give bios on prominent people and are far from comprehelsive. In Norwegian but published in USA.

I have the Vaksdal bygdeboker for Dale, Bruvik and Stamnes.

I have some "bygdebøker" from Rogaland, viz. from Strand, Forsand and Gjesdal Indre del. I may also do lookups in other "bygdebøker" from this area.

They're free to use, and there are more out there.
