Seeking to trace the parents of SAMUEL BOWKER, b. 1811, OH. In November 1831, he married NANCY KOUNTZ (b.1811), and for several years they lived in Columbiana Co., before migrating westward to Henry Co., OH. Samuel's occupation was shoemaker. The children of Samuel & Nancy, all born in Columbiana Co., are:

Isaiah (1832-1899)
Jeremiah (1833-)
John (1835-1897)
Harman (1836-1904)
David K (1839-1897)
Elizabeth M (1841-)
Martin W (1845-1909)
James Josephus (1846-1910)
SAMUEL JAMES (1849-1926) -- our direct ancestor (Grandfather, in fact)
Daniel (1850-)
Ellen (1852-)
Maggie (1860-)

Because there are BOWKER branches all up/down the Eastern seaboard (Maine, NY, NJ, VA, etc.) and so many duplicate first names, I cannot sort out which branch this Samuel Bowker originates from. Not incidentally, I also need to determine the parents' names for his spouse NANCY KOUNTZ BOWKER. Any help is greatly appreciated
