Hi Thom.
This looks interesting, I can't link to your names, but they could be siblings to John b. 1777 at the top of my chart. Do you know the parents of Sarah & Susannah?
Best wishes Chris

Hi Christine: I am descended from Sarah Payne who married William Holland at Holcombe Rogus on 24 Dec 1823. Also, from Susannah Pain who married John Perry at HR on 27 Dec 1743. Cheers, Thom

My main interest is in the Blackmore family of Congresbury. Two of my Blackmore great-great-granduncles married two members of Jill's Perris clan, sisters, Amelia and Ellen, at Yatton. I have a second Blackmore line in Holcombe Rogus, Devon. So my interest really extends to all Westcountry Blackmores.

Thank you Jill.
My interest in this area is a One Name Study of the surname Gibbins, before 1760, and all it spelling variations in Devon, but this is spilling over into neighbouring counties. I also enjoy working on Ancient Westcountry Familes.

Mark - that is a very nice web site.

On an unrelated matter, I know you don't have obituaries in Somerset like we have in the USA, but when my remaining North Somerset relatives died I had no information on their surviving relatives, and I wondered if there were newspaper notices.
My great-uncle Alfred Beacham died August 7, 1940 (Bathavon 5c 1539) - his wife Emily Jane Bye Beacham died June 1936 (Weston 5c 494).
My great-aunt Rosina Beacham Carter died June 1936 (Weston 5c 543).

On another note - Jill - I have lost the email address of Gordon Dennis Franklin, son of Minnie Perris. I had gotten a GenesReunited request from Vernon as follows:
"My wife is Janet Hollingworth (nee Franklin) daughter to Frederick and a niece of Dennis Franklin whom you mention. Also the others you mention are her cousins etc. Although Fredericks mother was know as Minnie Perris, even to her son Dennis, I do have a copy of her birth certicate showing that her name was actually Parris. We now live in France and can be reached on Email vahollingworth@orange.fr " I wanted to link these two up.

My own family links to North Somerset are mainly Bristol area. The names are Scorey and Furze.
For many years I had a dilema whether I was actually a Roderick because my GGGG Grandfather Roderick had shacked up with a woman called Scorey who had kids. Recentley I have found her husband had died in 1823 so William Roderick her son really was a Roderick as he was born in Bristol in 1828.
