On the Somerset Record Office Catalogue are some online documents. One is a List of Prisoners and one day I idly looked through this and found that my dear old Elisha GOSLING had been a prisoner. Oh dear, did our family get that bad! Anyhow, upon further examination it appears that Elisha spent one night there and was discharged. It is another piece of evidence of course, but what a superb piece of evidence this was. They say it is best to look under every stone don't they? You never know what is lying underneath. http://www.somerset.gov.uk/archives/ - Index of prisioners in Ilchester Gaol
