Denise, Where did you get the birth info for John Brown? Do you know what Massachusetts town(s) he lived in? Most Massachusetts towns have good records going back to colonial times. Many of them are in the databases at the New England Historical Genealogical Society (NEHGS) newenglandancestors.org. About the Brown genealogy: do you see matches for family members of your John Brown in this book?

I am looking for the parents of John Brown : Birth 19 Mar 1803 Massachusetts, USA. : Death 21 Jun 1855 in Oakfield,Perry,Ohio,USA. Family lore places Brown ancestors at "The Boston Tea Party" and "The Battle of Bunker Hill". It is possible, that John was a member of the Brown family documented in the book, "William Brown - English Immigrant of Hatfield and Leicester, Massachusetts and his descendants 1634 - 1994" by Carol Willitts Brown and published by Gateway Press, Baltimore Maryland, 1994.

No except for the plymouth colony court records, which I'm sure is not what you mean.

Katrina, have you done much research on court records?

Hi. My researches are mostly in Mass. and New Hampshire in the seventeenth century. By 1700 all my direct lines that I'm aware of had left New England.
