Great news.  The Family History Expo will be at North Platte, NE on Thursday, June 16th.  That's coming right up and you won't want to miss it.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy an evening genealogy conference.  It will be held at the Holiday Inn Express at the North Platte Exchange of I-80 (south of I-80).  The Expo begins at 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  There will be classes, workshops, door prizes and vendors.  Check out the schedule and fees at http://www.familyhistoryexpos.com.  Click on "Expos" and then go to the one for North Platte.  I hope to see a lot of Nebraska genealogists there!

Connie Underwood, Is Everett Albert Hollander is your Hollander family. Clemmence Johnson, his wife, is part of my Leafgren/Leafgreen family.

Just wanted to introduce myself and give the names of those I am reserching in Nebraska. HOLLANDER, NICKLESON in Kearney area 1887. I am also wondering where I could find the naturalization records since John Hollander was born in Denmark. He evidently became american either in 1870 or after. John was born in about 1861 so I am thinking he came with parents so the naturalization would be under father.
I also have a lot of info on the BANZHAF family in Seward (Garland, Germantown), area if anyone would like info.
Thanks for any help you can give on the Hollander info that I need.

Researching the FEICK family of Plainview, Pierce County.
Georg Heinrich FEICK, wife Anna Catharine (MADE) came from Wersau, Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany to St. Louis, MO. They moved to Plainsview with their youngest daughter Anna Margarette around 1895. Anna Margarette b. Feb. 1873 Wersau, Germany married to Bruce SIRES (his 2nd wife) in February 1897 Plainview and died 1922 and was buried Pleasant View Cemetery just outside of Plainsview.
Looking for death and burial information for Georg Heinrich and wife Anna Catherine who died in Plainview. Georg died bet. 1920-1930 and wife died after 1900 and bef. 1910 census.
In neighboring Knox County, another daughter Juliane "Julia" b. May 1869 Wersau lived with husband and children in Columbia Twp. She married Peter TRAUTMANN abt. 1889 in either St. Louis, MO or in Pekin, Tazewell County, IL where Peter's family lived coming from Ober-kainsback, Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany in 1872. Their first child Alma Trautmann (my g-grandmother) was born in Pekin in October 1889 (per oral history). Their 2nd thru 4th children were born in Knox County, NE between 1897-1900 while the rest of their children were born in McLean County, ND. A son named Peter born bet. 1900-1901 was buried (no dates on the stone) in Eden Valley Cemetery 1/2 mile outside of Columbia Twp. into Pierce County. The family were in McLean County, ND by 1902.
Also looking for information on a Conrad WEBER who lived in the household of Peter's widowed mother (Katharina Trautmann) and family in 1880 Pekin, Tazewell County. I later learned this Conrad WEBER traveled over with the Trautmann family from Germany in 1872 as he was listed on the ship manifest just after the Trautmann family. I later find him living in Knox County, NE during the 1900 Census in Columbia Twp.
It is possible that Katharina "Catherine" Margaretha's maiden name was WEBER per the FHL where a Johannes Trautmann m. Katherina Margaretha Weber 09 Jan. 1853 in Reichelsheim Odenwald, Starkenburg, Hessen-Darmstadt. The other possible match was a marriage to a Katherina Margaretha VETTER of same place. I am strongly leaning towards the WEBER connection. Any additional info is appreciated!

Researching Richter family of Murray, Cass CO. Arrived 1881 (Ernest & Auguste (Kuchler/Kichler), Karl August & Minnie (Ackerman) Richter. Family story is 3 other brothers came to NE and moved on but no one knows their names. Possibly continued to the Northwest and/or Minnesota.

Anyone have a thought on how to look up past places of employment maybe the records of the companies not sure if thier still opprational i am reaching is my guess but just maybe by chance any help i will be greatful Thanks

Kathleen ... Basset is in Rock Co., Nebraska. Check out the Rock Co. web page on USGenWeb http://www.usgenweb.org/ne and then scroll down to Rock Co. They have a lot of good information especially cemeteries. If they remained in Rock Co. and went to school there you may be able to locate school records either online or through the Rock County Courthouse. These can be very helpful. They will also show up on the 1900 US Census in case you have not checked that.
