ABBOTT-PARSONS ROLLS: CREEK INDIANS

The Abbot-Parsons Rolls are available on-line and show names of Creek Indians East of the Mississippi before Removal 1832-1834. The Indian names are shown but, in the case of my ancestor who was not a full blooded Creek, his name was shown as To bi As Kelly. His grandson was Tobias Kelly. I do not know anything of the Creek Indian woman he married.

Many other English names are shown on these rolls.

I know the Upper Creek Indians are shown on these rolls but, I would have to look again for the Lower Creek Indians. Sorry, I didn't research the lower Creek Indians yet. Haven't had a need to.
