Hi Deborah. I took my courses in the American Records too. I started in summer of 2004 and completed my work in 2006 for my certificate.

I am currently taking a land records class in the American Records program through NGS, and hope to complete my Professional Learning Certificate at some point in the future :-). I laugh because I am taking one class at a time and am still at the basic level. I'm glad to know this forum exists.

I received a Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Studies from the National Institute for Genealogical Studies in 2006. I absolutely loved my experiences in all of my courses and am so proud of the work I achieved there.
